My story is long with many twists and turns. From a childhood in Iowa to a fishing village in India, a mountain top in Virginia, a farm in Kansas and a condo in California, I’ve moved 30 times as an adult.
And though I primarily have made my living as a writer, I’ve done a lot of other jobs along the way. I’ve taught swimming, produced industrial films, edited programs, built a cabin, and sold eggs from my 17 hens. I was “the egg lady.”
Then the Pandemic hit, and I needed something to do. Something fun. So, I took a bunch of tired earrings from my drawer, put on my favorite Creedence music and made a peace sign. While gluing rhinestones on an old board, I became hyper-focused. I forgot about covid. I forgot about the freezing weather. I forgot about myself.
